I Love Summer (1000)

I Love Summer details Mike’s hilarious capacity to capture the comical and ridiculous side of everyday life. The chaotic commotion of British summer is shown in this jam packed puzzle, where all things summer - from baby-carrying seagulls to ominous thunderstorms - are portrayed in the most hilarious way possible.

As with all Gibsons jigsaws, we use 100% recycled puzzle board, FSC paper and work with the best artists from all around the world. The beautifully illustrated pieces are designed to fit perfectly together; in fact, we use the thickest puzzle board on the market. Everyone loves a Gibsons jigsaw, even Her Majesty the Queen has been spotted with one.

We’ve made some positive changes to our processes, so you can be sure you’re getting the same great puzzles and know that they are kinder to the environment. Not only does the box have a fresh new look, but we’ve used biodegradable clear labels to secure the lid instead of shrink wrap to reduce our plastic waste.

There is a gloss coating on the box for extra protection and the puzzle pieces are stored in a plastic bag that can be recycled by most councils. Because the box is slightly smaller than our previous designs, we need less room to transport our products which reduces our carbon footprint and means you can store your puzzles more easily. We have also popped an artwork poster inside for you to reference whilst you piece together your lovely jigsaw puzzle.

ABOUT THE ARTIST Mike Jupp

Mike Jupp is one of Gibsons most successful artists and cartoon illustrators who delight our fans with his ‘I Love’ range, where his manages to capture the comical and ridiculous side of everyday life. Born in 1948 in Tonbridge, Kent, he was adopted and grew up in West Sussex. After studying Animation at West Sussex College of Art and Design he moved to London and became a freelance artist in 1974, moving into film and TV design in 1980. After creating the award winning cartoon series The Dreamstone and Bimble’s Bucket, in the late 1990s Mike applied his talent and lively sense of humour to creating designs for Jigsaw puzzles and the ‘I Love’ series was born. In the years since, ‘I Love’ puzzles have become a legend amongst jigsaw fans and their popularity continues to grow.
